About The Courthouse
A beautiful, Grade 2 listed, 16th Century former Courthouse restored with style, care and attention to detail. This is a truly unique self-catering retreat.
A spacious living room with original beams. Large windows provide extensive views of the gardens of Lea Hall and the countryside beyond.
The living room features a contemporary wood burner and two sofas- one of which is a double sofa bed. There is an original farmhouse kitchen table with a pulley light above and a 40” wall mounted television with access to Sky TV. A slate-topped counter connects the living room to the fully-equipped kitchen which is fitted with an Aga cooker, microwave and dishwasher.
The bedroom contains a comfortable king size bed: the duvet is made of goose down. The room is defined by a window that looks out over the Lea Hall gardens.
A large wet room includes a shower and an extra long claw foot bath. Steam resistant mirrors and under floor heating are welcome touches.
An outside table and chairs are placed within a beautiful courtyard which captures the evening sun.
A maximum of two well behaved dogs are welcome to stay in the Courthouse. Please see rates.
